"Janet assisted us in planning the renovation of our main bathroom, which had not been updated since the house was built in the 1960's. We wanted a separate tub & shower stall, so she had quite a challenge to find a layout which would not make the bathroom seem overly crowded…She developed a number of detailed plans that presented options for the arrangement of fixtures within the bathroom. The plans included various tile size and layout options which were useful in looking at how they can make the bathroom feel bigger…she provided a sample material list with prices that helped us to determine whether it was feasible to proceed based on our planned budget… she then provided valuable guidance in the selection of the colour palette and the tiles. We appreciated Janet's professionalism, her attention to detail and her obvious love of interior design. Without her, our new bathroom probably would not have happened!

"My family and I are very excited after receiving the plans for our family room…we entertain a lot and we have a bed and breakfast so the impressions of the room are just as important as the functionality…After measuring up the space, Janet took the time to get to know each member of the family, our interests and our experiences…Janet quickly recognized that we are a unique family and that we have unique interests…she identified an idea that she believed we would all be comfortable with, then went away to put some thought and I think a "little magic" into making it into a theme. Within a short time she came back to me with a package. "We had a flood in our basement when the snow melted this year and therefore had to have the whole basement renovated…I called on Janet's services for some assistance with selecting the paint colours for our new space…my 20 something son's were giving me a lot of grief because I always choose grey, but the thought of choosing something with more colour just frightened me…Janet made me feel at ease from the time she arrived, we walked through the new space and discussed the function then she quickly honed in on a colour palette that would help to warm up the space and also give it some width as it is a narrow room…I would have never had the courage to select the deep rich rusty red that she chose for an accent wall but it looks fabulous the whole room looks warm and rich and cozy…I'm glad I called on Janet's help otherwise I would have had a grey or beige room
